Custom Box Material Selection:

The material used to make different types of boxes is called "stock." We primarily use Kraft paper, art cards, and cardboard. These materials come in different thicknesses, measured in GSM (grams per square meter). The common GSM we use includes 210, 230, 250, 270, 300, and 350. Each type of material has a different thickness. 

For instance, corrugated stock typically ranges from 210 to 250 GSM, but for larger boxes, it can go up to 350 GSM. Furthermore, if we need even thicker stock for heavier products, we can combine two cards, such as gluing two 230 GSM cards to create a 460 GSM stock. The final choice also depends on the client's printing preferences.

Plate Making:

In the field, you cannot just use a plain box; it needs to have branding and your company's details. To achieve this, our company uses a printing process, which requires plate-making. We utilize modern technology called Computer to Plate (CTP) for precision. 

This process involves creating separate plates for each color used in the printing process. For example, a four-color job will need four different plates, one for each color: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black (CMYK). Printing:
